These terms are a simple, plain-English summary of how NearMade works. We’ll refine them as the service evolves. If anything here is unclear, please contact us.
1. What we provide
NearMade helps you order 3D printed items that are produced by local makers. We’re a fulfilment service — we don’t manufacture at scale, and availability depends on maker capacity.
2. Orders & production
Items are made to order. Small cosmetic variations can occur between prints (for example layer lines, minor texture differences, or colour variation between filament batches).
3. Pickup & delivery
Pickup locations and time slots are offered based on availability. Delivery time depends on courier service and address. We’ll notify you when your order is ready.
4. Cancellations & refunds
Because items are made to order, cancellations are time-sensitive. If you need to cancel or amend an order, please contact us as soon as possible. Once printing has started, we may not be able to refund the full amount.
5. Safety & intended use
Many products are decorative or hobby items. Unless explicitly stated on the product page, prints are not certified food-safe, child-safe, or load-bearing.
