For makers

Your printer.
Your neighbourhood.
Your income.

NearMade connects people who want custom 3D prints with makers who live right around the corner. If you have a printer, some spare capacity, and a bit of patience — you already have everything you need.

"Most 3D printers sit idle 18 hours a day. NearMade turns that unused time into something real — for you, and for the people around you."

— The NearMade team

How it works for you

01

Apply to join

Tell us about your printer setup and experience. We're not looking for factories — we want people who take pride in what they make.

02

Receive orders

When a customer in your area places an order, you get a notification with the file, colour, and any customisation. You decide whether to accept.

03

Print & hand off

Print at your own pace within the agreed window. Then arrange a local pickup or drop it off — on your schedule, not ours.

04

Get paid

Payment lands in your account within 48 hours of the customer collecting their order. No chasing invoices, no awkward conversations.

What can you earn?

Earnings depend on the size and complexity of the print. Every order shows your exact cut upfront — you decide whether to accept it before you start printing.

You can complete multiple orders per day, and there's no minimum commitment.

Why makers choose NearMade

Real income from idle hardware

Your printer runs while you sleep. What used to cost electricity now earns you money.

You set the hours

Accept or decline any order, any time. NearMade works around your schedule, not the other way around.

Stay hyper-local

You only ever serve customers within a few kilometres of you. No couriers, no packaging headaches — just a quick handoff nearby.

Build a reputation

Customers rate their experience. Great makers rise to the top and get first pick of new orders in their area.

No upfront cost

Joining is free. We take a small platform cut only when you complete an order — so we only succeed when you do.

We handle the customer side

Payments, support, disputes — all handled by us. You focus on printing; we handle everything else.

What we look for

We don't require a specific printer brand or years of experience. What matters is that you care about the output and the person receiving it.

  • A reliable FDM printer (Bambu, Prusa, Creality, or similar)
  • Ability to deliver orders within 24–48 hours of accepting
  • Located in or near Dublin
  • A willingness to communicate clearly with customers when needed
  • Basic post-processing: removing supports, light sanding if required
